Ingredients

1/2 c. softened oleo
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. honey
2 1/4 c. whole wheat blend flour (may use regular flour)
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
Preparation

Beat together oleo, brown sugar, egg and honey until smooth. Add flour, soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon and ginger.
Stir until well combined.
Divide dough into balls (approximately 24).
Dip balls into granulated sugar and place 3 inches apart on baking sheet.
Bake until tops are crinkled and just firm, 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool completely.
Store in airtight container.
Bake at 375\u00b0.
