Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. potatoes
    1 large onion
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 Tbsp. minced garlic
    1/2 can evaporated milk
    1/2 stick butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook diced potatoes and onion until done.
    Add all other ingredients and simmer on very low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently, making sure it doesn't stick or scorch.
