Ingredients

1 c. unsalted butter or margarine
1 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. flaked coconut
2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. finely ground almonds
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation

In large mixer bowl, cream butter or margarine and 1 cup powdered sugar until fluffy.
Add coconut and extract.
Gradually mix in flour; stir in nuts.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 325\u00b0 oven for 15 to 17 minutes. Place on rack.
Combine remaining sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle over warm cookies.
Makes 5 1/2 dozen.
