Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. butter (not margarine)
2 c. plain flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
chocolate chips or pecans
Preparation

Soften cream cheese and butter.
Blend well. Combine flour and sugar.
Add to butter mixture. Add vanilla and mix well. Shape into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Press chocolate chips or pecans into each cookie.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Yields 5 to 6 dozen.
