Tin Can Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. apricot nectar
1/3 c. raisins
2 3/4 c. plain flour
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. salad oil or shortening
1 1/2 c. dried apricots, cut
1/2 Tbsp. dehydrated orange peel or 1 Tbsp. fresh orange peel
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1 egg
Preparation

Grease and flour 3 (1-pound) coffee cans.
Mix in saucepan apricot nectar, apricots, raisins and orange peel.
Simmer for 5 minutes; set aside to cool.
