German Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 1/4 c. flour
2 Tbsp. yeast
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. warm water
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. anise seed
2 c. milk
1 tsp. sugar
cinnamon and sugar mixture
Preparation

Set aside yeast, 1 teaspoon sugar and warm water.
Heat milk, salt and sugar.
Add milk mixture, eggs and yeast mixture to 3 cups flour.
Mix well.
Add anise seed and the rest of the flour, slowly mixing by hand to form a stiff dough.
