Navajo Fry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. honey
vegetable oil for frying
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients and add water(enough a little at a time till you have a stiff dough), mix well.
Knead dough on a floured board till it becomes elastic.
Let dough rise 10 minutes, covered.
Roll out dough till it is 1/2 inches thick.
Cut into squares or circles.
Deep fry at 370\u00b0 till golden brown.
Drain on paper towels and drizzle with honey.
