Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
4 bananas, mashed
2 c. flour, sifted
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts (best with walnuts or pecans)
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
Beat after each addition is made.
Add bananas.
Next add dry ingredients and nuts (walnuts or pecans).
Bake in a greased and floured loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Makes 12 servings.
