Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. softened butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. finely chopped, colored cherries
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    3/4 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Blend in the milk and vanilla. Stir in the flour, cherries and pecans.
    Form dough into two 8-inch rolls.
    Roll in flaked coconut, coating outside.
    Wrap in wax paper or plastic.
    Chill 2 hours.
    Cut into 1/4-inch thick slices.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes on ungreased sheet pan.
