Ingredients

5 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
4 eggs
2 c. white sugar
2 c. oil
2 tsp. anise oil or more
candied cherries
Preparation

Sift first 3 ingredients into a bowl. Cream eggs and sugar well. Add oil and anise oil; cream well.
Put dry ingredients into liquid mixture.
Mix well.
Refrigerate about 20 minutes.
Roll into small balls and flatten with a fork dipped in flour.
Put piece of candied cherry in center.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes. Cool and store.
