Ingredients

1 c. oleo
1 c. cooking oil
2 c. sugar
5 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream oleo, cooking oil and sugar.
Add eggs and mix.
Add vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture.
Roll into balls the size of a hickory nut and flatten with a water glass dipped in sugar.
Sprinkle with colored sugar, if desired.
Bake around 10 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Makes quite a few cookies.
