Ingredients

1 c. unsalted butter
1 c. light brown sugar, loosely packed
1/2 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
2 1/4 c. cake flour, sifted
1/2 c. pecans, finely chopped
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, light brown sugar, vanilla and salt until light and fluffy.
Stir in the flour and nuts, just enough to combine.
Do not overmix or cookies will be tough.
Form the dough into a ball and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
