Great Grandma Franklin'S Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    1 1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1 c. warm water
    4 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    6 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Add molasses and eggs.
    Dissolve soda in water and add to mixture.
    Add spices and the flour. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 to 12 minutes; for large cookies, 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cool on towel or foil. Will be like cake. Do not overbake!
