Christmas Flower Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 c. margarine, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. orange extract
    2 eggs
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) container red candied cherries
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) container green candied cherries
Preparation
    Into large bowl, measure first 7 ingredients.
    With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well blended.
    With spoon, stir in flaked coconut; set aside.
    Cut each red and green candied cherry in half.
    Cut each half into 4 slivers; set aside.
