Squash Casserole Elegant - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 or 4 yellow squash (can use some zucchini)
2 medium onions, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream or yogurt
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1 stick butter or oleo
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. shredded carrots
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm dressing (herbed)
Preparation

Clean squash; slice and simmer in a small amount of water with chopped onions in a saucepan. Drain and set aside in bowl. Stir together the soup, sour cream, water chestnuts, pimentos, carrots and peppers. Gently fold in cooked squash.
