Ingredients

2 egg whites, at room temperature
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat egg whites until very stiff; add sugar gradually and continue to beat on high.
Add vanilla.
Fold in nuts and chocolate chips with a spatula.
Drop 1/2 teaspoon on cookie sheet covered with a brown paper bag.
Shut off oven and close; open in 8 to 10 hours.
Store in a cool, dry place.
