Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. buttermilk
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. peeled and cored apples
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream 1/2 cup butter, gradually adding sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk; add to batter, mixing well.
    Stir in flour.
    Add vanilla.
    Stir in apples, walnuts and raisins.
    Spoon into 2 greased and floured 7 1/2 x 3 x 2-inch loaf pans.
    Drizzle melted butter over loaves.
    Combine brown sugar and cinnamon; stir well and sprinkle over loaves.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Yields 2 loaves.
