Ingredients

1 c. chow mein noodles, crushed
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Using high speed of the electric mixer, cream butter, sugar and vanilla until soft and creamy.
Sift together salt and flour; add gradually to butter mixture.
Blend well on low speed.
Add noodles, stirring in by hand.
Chill until firm.
Pinch off small pieces of dough and shape into fingers.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Cool; dust with powdered sugar.
Yield:
5 to 6 dozen icicles.
