Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. uncooked rolled oats
1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Lightly grease cookie sheets.
Cream the butter with sugars in a large bowl until blended.
Add egg and vanilla.
Beat until fluffy.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda in a small bowl.
Stir into creamed mixture with oats, chocolate chips, raisins and nuts.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned around edges.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
