Ingredients

1 c. (8 oz.) butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. brandy or vanilla extract
1 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
1/4 c. sour cream
2 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
3/4 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
12 oz. white chocolate, chopped (2 c.)
1 c. chopped shelled Brazil nuts or almonds
Preparation

Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Beat in the brandy.
Melt the chocolate in dish over hot water. Stir the melted chocolate and sour cream into the creamed mixture. Sift together the flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Stir the dry ingredients gradually into the melted chocolate mixture to form a batter.
Stir in the white chocolate chips and nuts. Drop the batter by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Makes about 5 dozen.
