Apricot Bread - cooking recipe

2 (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. orange extract
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1 c. dried apricots
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. soft butter
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. orange juice
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and 1 egg with orange flavoring and rind and set aside.
Cover apricots in warm water and soak for 30 minutes.
Drain apricots and cut them in small pieces.
Cream sugar and butter.
Add egg.
Add water and juice.
