Chinese Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. flank steak or more
    3 sliced onions
    3 green peppers, cut in strips
    1/4 to 1/2 c. soy sauce
    garlic salt to taste
    1/3 c. water
    pinch of pepper
    1/2 tsp. sugar (optional)
    1 or more tsp. cornstarch, mixed with 2 or more Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Slice the meat diagonally against the grain into 1/8-inch strips.
    Heat a large nonstick or regular skillet (use 1 tablespoon of oil) and brown the steak quickly over high heat. Push aside.
