Koulourakia(Greek Butter Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter (room temperature)
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    8 to 9 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. double-acting baking powder
    1 egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp. water
    2 lemon rinds, grated
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cream butter gradually beating in sugar. Beat eggs until light; add to butter mixture and beat thoroughly. Add vanilla extract.
    Add lemon rinds.
    Sift together flour and baking powder.
    Carefully blend into butter-egg mixture to make soft dough.
