Ingredients

4 c. flour (rounded)
2 tsp. cream of tartar (large)
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. oleo
2 eggs
1 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 pt. commerical sour cream
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients; set aside.
Cream together sugar and shortening; add eggs and lemon extract.
Blend and add sour cream. Combine this mixture with sifted dry ingredients.
Mixture will be stiff.
Refrigerate overnight.
