Colonial Brown Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. whole wheat flour
3/4 c. white flour
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Lightly spoon flours into measuring cup; level off.
Mix first five ingredients in large bowl.
Slowly add milk until well blended.
Bake in a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
