Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs, then flour.
Roll into small balls.
Place on cookie sheet and with a wet fork, flatten a crisscross design.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Makes 4 dozen.
