Christmas Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar and egg in mixing bowl and beat for 3 minutes; blend in vanilla.
    Stir in flour mixture to make a stiff dough; wrap in wax paper and chill for 3 hours.
    Roll dough on a lightly floured board.
    Cut into desired shapes.
    Can sprinkle colored sugars on tops.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
