Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    3 c. apples, peeled and cut into pieces
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Combine oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla in large mixing bowl. Sift flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon and stir into oil/egg mixture.
    (Batter will be very stiff).
    Add apples and walnuts and mix.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
    A tube pan takes 1 1/4 hours; or makes 5 small loaf pans, baked for about 30 minutes.
    Similar to fruit cake. Tastes best after it's been frozen or wrapped in foil or plastic wrap for a few days.
