Carrot Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
3/4 c. liquid shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. carrots, grated
1/2 c. nutmeats
Preparation

Mix together sugar and shortening.
Add eggs.
Sift together flour, cinnamon, soda and salt.
Add to first mixture, then stir in carrots and nutmeats.
Bake in a loaf pan for 1 hour at 370\u00b0.
