Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift all
    dry ingredients together.
    Cut in shortening. Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla and add to flour mixture; mix well. Shape into small balls.
    Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Flatten each with bottom of glass.\tBake at 375\u00b0 for 8 or 10 minutes.
