Saute ground beef. Add onion, celery and carrots, cook until soft.
Add every thing else! (tomato sauce, tomato soup, tomato soup, tomatoes, water, sugar, worcestershire sauce, tabasco, salt, oregano, garlic salt, basil, celery salt, and pepper).
Simmer (covered because it splatters), for a good while (that's what it says). i usally don't time it, but let it sit on stove for at least an hour, some times two. I just add a bit more water if it gets too thick before supper time.
Stir often, so it does not burn on bottom!
Heat butter or oil in a non stick pan.
Flatten steaks slightly and spread with crushed garlic, salt and pepper on both sides.
Place steaks in hot pan and cook quickly to desired taste turning only once.
Lift out steaks when ready and keep handy.
Quickly add the brandy and worcestershire sauce, mix well and bring to boil.
Return steaks to pan and turn in the sauce.
Serve at once.
Brush the sandwich toaster with a little sunflower oil, wiping off the excess with kitchen paper. Preheat the sandwich toaster to its highest setting.
Butter one side of each side of bread. Turn the bread over. On one slice, arrange the cheese slices. Sprinkle over the Parmesan and Worcestershire sauce. Top the sandwich with the second slice of bread (buttered side up) and place in the toaster. Close the lid and cook for 3 minutes until crisp and golden.

Whisk together the garlic, oregano and Worcestershire sauce.
Gradually whisk in the olive oil, continually beating to form an emulsion. Stir in the vinegar and lemon juice

Brown meat in hot oil.
Add water, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, bay leaves, onion, salt, sugar, pepper, paprika, and allspice.
Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
Remove bay leaves and garlic clove.
Add carrots and celery.
Cover and cook 30 to 40 minutes longer.
To thicken gravy, remove 2 cups hot liquid. Using a separate bowl, combine 1/4 cup water and cornstarch until smooth.
Mix with a little hot liquid and return mixture to pot.
Stir and cook until bubbly.
Mix and cook in a large roaster pan in oven at 325 degrees for several hours until thickened to your liking.
Hot pack into pint jars; seal with hot lids and rings.
Set jars upside-down on a thick towel for 15 minutes (set the timer); then put right-side up.
As the jars cool, you'll hear some *kitchen music* which means they've sealed nicely.
Store in a cool dark cellar or cupboard.
