Add sugar, water (90-100 degrees F), and yeast in bottom of bread machine pan.

Cover and let rise in a warm place for approximately 30 minutes.
Bake in an oven preheated at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes.

Put water in bread machine pan, then add the butter.
Measure the dry ingredients into a bowl. Stir together, then add to the bread machine pan.
Make a small dent in the top of the dry ingredients to put the dry yeast into.
Fix the bread machine settings and start the machine.
Place the warm water, butter, honey, salt, coffee,cocoa, sugar, breaf flour, whole wheat flour, and bread machine yeast in the pan of a bread machine in the order listed. Put on basic cycle with light crust.
Place all ingredients in bread machine pan in order, or to the recommendation of your bread machine manufacturer. Make sure you make a well for the yeast on top.
Select the Basic/White cycle (I like this better than the Whole Wheat cycle). Select Medium or Light crust color, according to your preferences (I use Light).
Once baked, carefully slide bread out of bread machine pan, making sure to remove the dough blade. Cool on a wire rack.
