Tie cinnamon sticks
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place halved apples, cut sides down, on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven until apples are tender, 10 to 15 minutes.
Simmer 2 cups apple cider, cloves, allspice, and nutmeg in a large kettle or pot for 10 minutes. Add the remaining apple cider, orange juice concentrate, and lemonade concentrate; stir until wassail is smooth. Mix brown sugar into the wassail; heat until almost boiling. Float baked apple halves and cinnamon sticks in the wassail; serve warm.

I use my 30 cup coffee maker, which is a percolator, to make the Wassail.
Put the apple cider in the bottom of the coffee pot. Add the rest of the ingredients into the basket at the top.
Plug in the coffee maker and allow it to perk.
When it stops, the Wassail is done, and it will stay hot during the time you need it. Serve in glass or china cups.
Brandy can be added at this time if desired.

BEAT cream cheese, vanilla and 1 3/4 teaspoons Equal| for Recipes in a small bowl until fluffy; spread evenly in bottom of crust.
Combine all ingredients into a large pan.
Heat to boiling point, reduce heat and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and strain.
Pour hot wassail into mugs.
Can garnish with floaters of thin orange slices studded with cloves.
Makes 9 cups.
Stud 3 oranges with whole cloves.
Place in pan with enough water to cover bottom.
Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Meanwhile mix all other ingredients and bring to boil.
Float oranges in Wassail.
Combine the cider, apple chunks, and cinnamon sticks in a large kettle and bring to a boil over medium heat. Turn the heat down to low and add the mace, anise seed, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and brown sugar. Stir to combine, and simmer for 20 minutes until the spices have developed their flavor.
Drop in the orange and lemon slices, simmer for 5 more minutes, and turn off the heat. Ladle the wassail punch into mugs and serve hot. Include a few pieces of cooked apple or a cooked orange or lemon slice in each mug.

Mix and heat everything together in a pot on the stove, or use a Crockpot for convenience.
Add as much spices as you think is necessary. I like my wassail with lots of cinnamon.
You may choose to use ground cloves instead of whole cloves.
Add a splash of rum if alcohol is desired.
Stud the oranges with the whole cloves and bake in a 300 degree oven for 30 minutes.
On top of the stove, heat the cider and cinnamon sticks until almost boiling.
Pour the hot cider into a large punch bowl. Add the studded oranges. Add the brandy to taste -- the more the merrier!
To replenish wassail, just add more heated cider and more brandy. The longer the oranges sit in the punch, the more orange flavor there is to it.
Make two recipes of cornbread according to the
Mix Burgundy, cider and spices to taste.
Heat before serving. Float orange slices in wassail.
