Pour mixture into punch bowl with a little ice. When ready to serve, add Diet 7-Up.
Break cake and press it in a sheet pan bottom.
Bring juice and Jell-O to a boil, then add can of pineapple, cottage cheese and Dream Whip.
Mix all up in a bowl and pour over cake.
