Add the olives; stir into tamale mixture and turn into 2-quart casserole.
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake in moderate oven, 250\u00b0, for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves six.

Add cooked rice, tomato sauce, beef bouillon, chili powder, salt and pepper.
Place in a 3-quart casserole dish and sprinkle with grated American cheese.
Combine egg, milk, oil, flour, corn meal, baking powder, sugar and salt until smooth.

Heat oven to 350. Saute onion and garlic. Add meat, brown and drain off fat. Add tomatoes, corn and seasoning, bring to boil. Pour mixture into casserole and press olives into mixture.
Combine cornmeal, milk and eggs, spoon over the top. Bake for 1 hour.
Sift dry ingredients together and stir into eggs.
Add milk and pumpkin.
Line piepan with pastry and pour in filling.
Bake in very hot oven (450 degrees) for 10 minutes; reduce temperature to slow (325 degrees) and bake 35 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool.
**Variation:Use 1 Tsp.
