Tamale Pie Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground pork sausage
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 clove minced garlic
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 c. chopped celery
    1 (1 lb. 14 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained
    2 c. corn, drained
    1/2 c. corn meal
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 c. pitted black olives
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook sausage in skillet until lightly browned, stirring to keep crumbly.
    Drain excess fat.
    Add ground beef.
    Cook and stir until browned.
    Stir in garlic, celery and onion; cook until crisp-tender.
    Stir in tomatoes with liquid, corn, salt to taste and chili powder.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Slowly stir in corn meal and cook until thickened.
    Stir in olives. Pour into greased 2-quart casserole and top with cheese.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
