Press apple slices into top of dough very close together. (It won't hurt if more than a layer thick.) Dot with butter or oleo. Mix cinnamon and sugar together.

Boil water, add peeled potatoes cut into large chunks, cook and drain.
Mash or use a ricer. Add a teaspoon of lemon juice or white vinegar to help keep the potatoes from oxidizing and let them cool then cover tightly and refrigerate.
Reheat (microwave, crock pot, oven, stovetop) till slightly warm and then add in the liquids (milk, chicken broth, even a little water to rehydrate can work).

In a shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, oil and pepper.
Mix well and set aside.
Spread both sides of each pork chop with mustard, then press each chop into bread crumb mixture, coating both sides and using all of the mixture.
Spray rack in broiling pan with cooking spray.
Arrange chops on rack and broil 5 to 6-inches from heat source, turning once, until thoroughly and lightly browned, 5 to 6 minutes on each side.
Mix all ingredients together and chill thoroughly before serving.
If the shrimp are medium or larger, they should be cut up some.
Note that this is already mixed when served, and not used with the shrimp dipped into the sauce.

This is my mother's recipe.
Preheat griddle to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl whisk together eggnog, eggs, nutmeg, Cinnamon, and rum extract until well blended. Pour into a small/medium shallow baking dish and dip bread slices into mixture, then rotate and coat opposite side. Transfer to buttered griddle and cook until bottom is golden brown then flip and cook opposite side until golden brown.
