Mix cinnamon in hot water until fully blended.

Before you get started, make sure to read the label of your gin to check that it is made from or includes juniper berries. This is critical!
Put the raisins in a shallow glass container and pour enough gin into it to just cover the raisins.
Cover the container with cheesecloth and allow to stand until the raisins absorb the gin and the remaining liquid evaporates, about one week.
Each day, eat NINE of these \"drunken\" raisins.
I have read that it might take six weeks for this remedy to work, so be patient.

Meanwhile
Beat shortening, sugar and egg together.
Stir in applesauce (just a little).
Add flour, salt, spices, soda and raisins.
Add as much candied fruit, dates and nuts as you wish for fruit cake. For the cake with all the fruit, line your loaf pans with wax paper and grease well.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
In a 9 x 12-inch greased and floured pan.
Test in 1/2 hour.
Empty raisins into a large shallow container.
Pour enough gin (cheapest you can buy) to completely cover raisins; most grocery stores carry both.
Let stand uncovered until all liquid disappears (about 7 days).
Then place raisins in a covered container and eat just 9 raisins a day.
If you don't like raisins, put them on your cereal or in a salad.
Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Lightly oil a 9 x 9-inch cake pan. Measure applesauce into mixing bowl.
Add oil and sugar.
Measure out flour.
Add spices and soda; stir to mix, then add to applesauce mixture.
Stir well.
Add chocolate chips and raisins and stir some more.
Scrape into cake pan.
Lick spoon.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
(This cake keeps well even if not eaten right away.)
Brown the meat in skillet and set aside, draining off excess fat.
Heat the oil in a heavy saucepan.
Add onion and cook until onion is soft and golden.
Add all ingredients, except ground meat, green pepper and raisins.
Stir, lower heat, cover saucepan and simmer for at least 20 minutes.
Stir frequently, returning cover to pan after each stirring.
Add the meat, raisins and green pepper, but if you like crisp pepper, add it just before serving. Cook for another 10 minutes.

Put the sugar, water, shortening, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves on to boil at a slow simmer for 20 minutes.

Bring water and raisins to boil.

In a large bowl, combine almond flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg.
In a separate bowl, mix together eggs, agave and oil.
Stir carrots, raisins and walnuts into wet ingredients.
Stir wet ingredients into dry.
Place batter into 2 well greased, round 9 Inch cake pans.
Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes.
Cool to room temperature and spread with coconut frosting.
Serve.
Heat oven to 250\u00b0.
Put butter in a large, shallow roasting pan and place in oven until melted.
Remove from oven and stir in sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
Add popcorn and noodles and stir until coated.
Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and stir in almonds and raisins.
When cool, store in airtight container.
Yields 11 cups.
Heat the oil in a large saucepan and cook the onion and garlic over low heat for 6-7 mins until softened. Add the rice mix and cook, stirring for 1 min. Pour in the wine and simmer for a few mins then gradually add the stock, about 1 ladleful at a time. Allow the liquid to be absorbed by the rice before adding the next ladleful. This will take about 35 mins.
Stir in the butter and Parmesan cheese and season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve in warm, shallow bowls.
