For the Hamburger Helper, separate the pasta package
Hamburger, salt and pepper to taste, make 1/4-inch patties for as many as needed.
Place on a sheet of foil large enough to fold over and seal patties.
On top of each patty, layer thinly sliced potatoes, carrots and onion.
