Citrus Salt Body Scrub

In a medium dry bowl, combine all ingredients making sure to not let any water touch them as it will dissolve the salt.
Pour mixture into an airtight container and store in a cool dry place.
To use:
Just before showering, swirl ingredients together with your fingertips to mix.
Clean body completely and just before exiting shower, apply Citrus Salt Body Scrub to body in a firm circular scrubbing motion with hands or a soft washcloth.
Rinse off the mixture and pat body dry with a clean towel.

Pomegranate Body Scrub

In a small bowl, mix the sugar and pomegranate seeds, crushing both with a spoon.
Add the oil and mix.
The pomegranate will scent the scrub, but if you want more scent, add a couple drops of your favorite essential oil.
Massage gently onto damp skin. There should be enough for a full body scrub. Rinse off.

Salt Scrub

Combine the oil and salt in a bowl and mix well. Add essential oil and combine well.
To use, apply to dry skin using circular strokes to exfoliate the skin. Sit on the side of the tub to keep the scrub from making a mess. Don't use a salt scrub if you have any cuts in your skin.
Shower off or follow with a warm bath. Make sure you use a non-slip surface as the oil makes the tub slippery.

Coffee Body Scrub

Just mix all the ingredients together. I put everything in a plastic baggie and mix it in there. This recipe should last you through a few uses. I just keep it in the baggie I used to mix it and keep it in the bathroom. Use it in the shower and just scrub it on your body. It leaves skin silky smooth.

Chocolate Body Scrub

Combine sugar, body wash, cocoa powder, and vanilla in a plastic container.
Add olive oil until a paste forms.
Wet area to exfoliate.
Rub with scrub.
Rinse.
keep in a covered plastic container.

Diy Whipped Coconut Oil Body Butter

Place all ingredients into the mixing bowl. Note: Do not melt the coconut oil first. It will only whip up if it is solid.
Whip on high speed with a wire whisk for 6-7 minutes or until whipped into a light, airy consistency.
Spoon the whipped coconut oil body butter into a glass jar and cover tightly. Store at room temperature, or in the refrigerator if your house is so warm it melts the oil.
Note: You may notice tiny beads or \"pearls\" in the mixture. These will disappear almost immediately upon touching your warm skin.

Brown Sugar Body Scrub

Mix brown sugar, orange oil/juice, and vitamin E oil in a bowl.
Get in the tub and get wet.
Take a handful of mixed ingredients and scrub in a gentle circular motion.
Rinse off and apply a moisturizing lotion to re-hydrate skin.

Coffee Body Scrub

Mix together all dry ingredients.
Then add coconut oil, aloe vera gel, and vanilla.
Mix well and place in a container with lid.
When you use the scrub, you'll want to leave it on your skin for about 5 minutes before rinsing.

Orange Salt Scrub

Mix the salt with the oil and soap in a glass bowl, and then add the essential oil.
Transfer to a plastic or glass jar.
Use as a body scrub when having a bath or a shower, rinse off with warm water.

Edible Body Scrub

Mix all ingredients in a food processor to achieve a smooth texture. Smooth on the skin, taste periodically if desired, and enjoy the process of removing the scrub with a warm bath, shower, or other.

Organic Yogurt Smoothie

fill your blender with ingredients and blend until smooth. Generally, I maintain the basic recipe: i.e., Ripe bananas, strawberries, yogurt, honey, flax seeds and orange juice. I change the fruit depending on availability. I love this with a slice of toasted Ezekiel bread!

Miss Kitty'S Organic Skillet Cornbread

Coat bottom and sides of 10-inch cast iron skillet with oil; heat in a 450 degree oven for 10 minutes. (Skillet may smoke a bit).
Whisk together buttermilk and egg. Add cornmeal, stirring well to blend.
Stir in baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
Pour batter into hot skillet.
Return skillet to oven and bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Serve with organic butter.

Follow cooking directions for rice.
When finished, combine raisins and applesauce.
Stir.
Pour 3 cups of boiled hot water over flakes.
Bake in oven on cookie sheet for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
Substitute any fruit you wish.
This is a vegan recipe, no eggs or milk.

Homemade Organic Protein Bars

Preheat Oven to 325. Mix everything in a bowl with a spoon until a thick paste forms. Divide into eight parts; then shape into bars. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet (organic coconut oil) and bake for 10 minutes. Yields approx 8 bars.
Wrap individually & store in fridge. They will keep for about 1 week. Remember, these aren't cookies -- they will be dense like a protein bar. But -- oh so much better tasting, less money & better for you than a store bought one. :).

Organic Whole Wheat Pancakes

Mix together dry ingredients.
Combine yogurt, milk and oil and then add to dry mixture.
Stir just until moistened and all lumps are removed.
Cook on griddle over medium heat. I use a little bit of organic butter to coat the pan, but any spray would work as well.

Organic Mama Veggie Frittata

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F Grease the inside of a 9-inch round baking pan with butter.
Whisk eggs, sea salt, pepper, and paprika in a medium bowl to blend. Add egg mixture, bacon, if using, spinach, onion, and bell pepper to prepared pan and stir gently to combine.
Bake for 35 minutes or until eggs are fluffy, golden, and set in the middle. Sprinkle with tomatoes, fresh basil, and Organic Valley Feta.
