Make your own favorite oatmeal cookie recipe.
Substitute the liquid in your recipe with crushed pineapple and its juice.
(If your recipe calls for 1 cup water, substitute 1/2 cup crushed pineapple and 1/2 cup pineapple juice.) Bake for the time and temperature called for in your favorite recipe.
Place the water, milk and oatmeal in a saucepan over medium
Put in a bowl or cup the oatmeal, honey, creamer and cinnamon.
Next add water.
Mix well.
Note: you can add in nuts, raisins and other dried fruits if you like.
Put water and ice cubes in a very tall drinking glass. Add oatmeal and sugar to taste. Mix together and ensjoy!
Process the oatmeal and sugar in batches in a coffee grinder. This assures a fine powder that will dissolve easily.
If using freeze dried strawberries process them in the coffee grinder too.
Put everything in a suitable container, give it a couple shakes.
When ready to serve add 1 tbsp of mix to a cup of warm milk (for extra creamy) or water and mix. For better results or for drinking it cold use a blender.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl whisk dry ingredients (oatmeal - sugar) together and set aside.
Stir water and baking soda in a measuring cup or small bowl. Set aside.
Melt butter and syrup together over medium heat. Then add in the water/baking soda mixture.
Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheets which have been covered with parchment paper.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
