CABBAGE SLAW::
In a bowl toss cabbage, carrot, green onion, radishes, 1/
Bring white wine vinegar to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until reduced to 2 tablespoons, 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl and let cool completely, about 10 minutes. Whisk in sesame oil, vegetable oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, and salt.
Add cabbage and carrots to the bowl with the dressing and toss to coat. Let stand 5 minutes. Add sesame seeds and scallions.
In a large bowl combine cucumber and pea pods. For dressing, in a small bowl stir together vinegar, salad oil, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and crushed red pepper. Pour dressing over cucumber and pea pods, stirring to coat. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.
Stir Chinese cabbage into cucumber mixture. Sprinkle with nuts. Makes 8 servings.
Mix vinegar, sugar, canola oil and the herb packet from the Ramen noodles.
Add chopped cabbage, water chestnuts,
onion, crushed noodles and almonds.
Refrigerate.\tLooks better if served the same day but good the next day also.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat and cook onion until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add napa cabbage, sprinkle with sugar, and mix well. Cook and stir over low heat, 3 to 5 minutes. Season with ginger, cumin, salt, and pepper and cook for 1 more minute.

Place napa cabbage, mandarin oranges, and apple in a bowl. Stir yogurt and lemon juice together in a small bowl and season with sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour dressing over salad and mix well. Set aside for 30 minutes to intensify the flavor.

In a small bowl, whisk together lemon zest and lemon juice. Slowly drizzle in the pistachio oil, whisking constantly, until the dressing is mixed well.

Note: By 'cleaned weight' for the Napa Cabbage, I mean the weight once the stalk and outer leaves have been removed. I started off with a Napa Cabbage that weighed approximately 1 1/2 lbs.

Mix 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, tamari, lime peel and juice, hot pepper sauce and ginger. Add salmon and marinate (turning occasionally) for 30 minutes.
In bowl whisk vinegar, honey, sesame oil and remaining 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Add cabbage and toss to coat. Add chives and sesame seeds. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Grill salmon on medium high heat for 4 minutes per side for fully cooked salmon or 3 minutes per side for medium rare salmon.
Serve salmon on top of the slaw.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; cook and stir sunflower kernels and ramen noodles in hot butter until sunflower kernels are lightly browned and fragrant, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer into a bowl to cool.
Stir sunflower seeds and ramen noodles with napa cabbage and spring onions in a large salad bowl. Whisk vinegar, vegetable oil, sugar, and soy sauce together in a separate bowl until sugar has dissolved; pour dressing over salad and toss.
