Heat oven to 325\u00b0. Mix sugars, peanut butter, butter, shortening, egg, baking soda and baking powder in 4-quart bowl thoroughly. Stir in cereal and chocolate chips. Shape dough slightly by rounded tablespoonfuls; place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake until golden, 10 to 12 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies. May substitute butterscotch chips for the chocolate chips.

In top of double boiler over hot water, heat 28 vanilla caramels in 2 tablespoons water, stirring frequently, until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth.
Pour caramel mixture over 5 cups Kix cereal; mix gently.
Drop mixture by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Let stand until firm.
Makes about 3 dozen candies.
Mix Kix, Rice Chex, mayonnaise, mustard, cucumbers, olives, pickle relish and pickle juice. Mayonnaise and mustard should be blended together before adding to salad.
Best chilled in refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to blend.
Place oleo, worcestershire sauce, garlic salt and celery salt in 3qt microwaveable bowl.
Microwave uncovered on high until butter is melted, approximately 45-60 seconds.
Stir well.
Stir in Kix, pretzel sticks and nuts. Toss until well coated.
Microwave on high uncovered 6 minutes, stopping to stir every 2 minutes.
Let cool 30 minutes.
In microwave safe bowl melt together the butter, marshmallows, and chocolate chips (about 2 minutes), then stir til mixed well.
Slowly add cereal and fold it into the mixture, you can use more or less of the kix, depending on how chocolatey you want them to be.
Drop by large spoonfuls onto waxed paper (spray with pam first for best results) and stick in the refrigerator.
Chill for one hour or longer depending on when you want to eat them.
Place cereal in large mixing bowl.
In medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup and margarine.
Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves, stirring frequently.
Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal; stir to coat.
Spread in 11 x 7-inch dish sprayed with vegetable cooking spray.
Press evenly in pan.
Cool. Makes 24 bars.

Add 2 slices of cheese on top of macaroni.
Arrange tomato slices on top.
Sprinkle with buttered Kix cereal.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 to 25 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, stir together the cereals, Cheezits and nuts.
In another bowl, mix the seasonings with the melted margarine.
Pour over the cereal mixture and stir to coat the cereal evenly.
Spread out mixture on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
Store in an airtight jar or plastic container.
This mix tastes best if you make it 3 or 4 days ahead.

Heat margarine and honey until melted.
Stir in cinnamon and salt.
Pour over cereal mixture and toss until coated.

Melt butter in microwave or small pan.
Stir in Worcestershire and salts.
Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture.
Stir and salt lightly.
Bake 30 minutes, stirring carefully with wooden spoon.

Melt almond bark and peanut butter.
Pour over cereal and peanuts.
Mix until all cereal is coated.
Drop bite-sized pieces on wax paper with spoon or press into pan and cut into squares.
Heat syrup and dry Jello over med. heat until dissolved.
Pour over Kix.
Melt oleo; add Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce.
Pour over cereals and dry ingredients.
Then add the spices turning cereal while you are adding the spices.
Place in low 225\u00b0 oven for 2 hours, stirring every half hour.
Heat the oven to 300\u00b0.
Mix the cereal and pretzel sticks in an ungreased rectangular pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).
Stir the margarine and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
Pour over the cereal mixture.
Stir until the cereal is evenly coated.
