Combine flour, 1 teaspoons creole seasoning, and salt in a
Mix Creole mustard with the mayonnaise to taste.
Add lemon juice to taste, (1 Tbsp. will get you going.) Add Creole spices to taste (start with 1 1/2 tsp.).
Refrigerate for about 1 hour.
Spray Pam in a 9x12 baking dish.
Fill the dish with sliced yellow squash.
Pour enough milk to cover the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle Tony Chachere's creole seasoning to cover the top. Sprinkle green onions on top.
Cover with foil and bake in 350 degree oven 1 hour, until squash is soft.
Remove and mash.
Stir in brown sugar and bread crumbs.
Sprinkle cheese over the top and bake about 15 minutes or so.
Serves lots!
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Place melted butter in a shallow bowl. Dip fish into the butter and place on a plate. Sprinkle Creole seasoning on top of the fillets and pat it in.
Place fish in the hot skillet and cook until just starting to blacken, but not burn, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook until blackened on the other side, about 2 minutes more.
Rinse potatoes and microwave for 4 minutes.
Cube potatoes and place into skillet with olive oil.
Sprinkle desired amount of Creole seasoning over potatoes.
Cook potatoes until light brown.
Add diced hotdogs and onions to skillet.
Remove from stove when potatoes are at desired crispiness (10-15 minutes total cook time usually).
Mix flour and Creole seasoning together in a shallow bowl. Dredge chicken through the flour mixture, shaking of excess.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-heat. Cook chicken in the hot oil until browned, about 2 minutes per side. Add diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, pickles, vinegar, capers, and garlic to chicken; simmer until chicken is no longer pink in the center, about 10 minutes more.
Heat oil in a frying pan. Add the bacon, onion, garlic plus parsley & saute until onion is soft & golden brown.
Add the beans, salt to taste preference & Creole seasoning. Reduce heat to low & cook gently for about 30 min or until beans are soft (Add a sml amt of water if needed to keep the beans from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
HINT: Try pairing these beans w/my also newly entered Creole Meatloaf recipe & your favorite thick mashed potatoes. Yum!
