Combine all ingredients (except the meat) until combined.
Add meat that has been thinly sliced (the meat is easier to slice when its half frozen) and marinade 24-48 hours, refrigerated.
Remove from marinade, disguarding excess.
Place onto food dehydrator trays, you'll know its done when it cracks when bent but does not break.
I have never \"over dehydrated\" my jerky, I always feel its better over dried than under dried. Mine usually takes about a day and a half to be fully done. Rotate trays for even dehydration.

Mix first 6 ingredients in a shaker.
Layer beef in a large bowl with each layer 90 degrees from the previous and sprinkle with seasoning.
Combine last 4 ingredients and pour over seasoned beef mixture.
Cove and refrigerate overnight to 4 days.
Remove from marinade and place in dehydrator and sprinkle with more of the seasoning mix. Run till dehydrated chewy and delectable.
If you don't have a dehydrator or smoker place on wire racks and put in your oven at 150\u00b0F till done.

Place all the ingredients in the blender to incorporate. Then place in an airtight container. 2 TBS equal 1 store bought packet.
For Italian Dressing: mix 2 tbs with 1/4 cup vinegar, 2 tbs water & 1/2 cup olive oil or use 2 tbs in any of your recipes calling for a store bought packet.
To dehydrate red bell peppers I dice them then place in oven at 200 degrees for about 3hrs then shut the oven off and just leave in oven until oven cools down or you can buy them online.

Cut steak into 1 inch wide by 4 inches long strips. Smaller, leftover pieces will cook well- don't just through them away!
Mix other 8 ingredients together.
Pour mixture over meat.
Coat each piece of meat with marinade.
Marinate in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Place meat on dehydrator trays- do not overlap meat.
Dehydrate at 160 degrees for 10 hours.
Beef jerky will be crispy and dark brown.
