In a large
s drained as possible, runny ambrosia is yucky :) add the cherries
until dry.
For this recipe, I gave the figure of

NOTE on serving: you
Drain pineapple, reserving juice; set pineapple aside.
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream.
In seperate bowl, combine pineapple juice and pudding mix and beat on low, or hand whisk for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Fold in whipped cream.
Stir in pineapple and 3 Tablespoons of the toasted coconut.
Transfer to serving bowl.
Garnish with remaining Tablespoon of toasted coconut, cherries and cherry juice.
Chill for at least 2 hours.

Cherry Pie Filling:
In
Place the Cherry Preserves in a sauce pan
Cream butter.
Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed. Add eggs, one at a time.
Combine flour, oats, baking powder, salt and soda.
Add to sugar mixture.
Add remaining ingredients, except candied cherries; stir well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Lightly press a cherry half into each cookie.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 14 to 16 minutes.
Cool on cookie sheets 10 minutes before transferring to cooling racks.
Mix sweetened condensed milk, whipped topping, and vanilla extract together in a bowl. Fold cherry pie filling, pineapple, coconut, pecans, and marshmallows into the condensed milk mixture. Cover bowl and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Mix well before serving.
Mix all together and serve.
Keep refrigerated.

Combine all ingredients in a medium size pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes or until sticky and thickened.
