Use 'Em Up Greens With Sausage & New Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 spicy Kielbasi Sausage about 1 1/2 pounds
    1 large bunch Curly Leaf Kale about 1/2 pound
    1 large bunch Chard about 1/2 pound
    1 large bunch Spinach about 1 pound
    1 large or 2 small Green Onion about 1/2 cup
    5 new Red or Golden Potatoes
    1 teaspoon Salt
    1/4 teaspoon Pepper
    More Salt & Pepper to taste if needed.
    1/4 cup Sliced Almonds
Preparation
    In large, 6 to 8 quart pot with steam basket over boiling water place 5 scrubbed potatoes cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes and steam til just starting to become tender, about 10 minutes.
    Clean, rinse and remove stems from Kale, Chard and Spinach.
    Rinse and slice the onions, in coins (green and white parts).
    Slice Sausage in Coins.
    When potatoes start to become done, place Kale, Chard, Spinach, Onions and Sausage in that order, plus Salt and Pepper on top of potatoes and steam for 10 minutes. Using tongs, turn and mix all the contents in steamer basket. Taste and add salt & pepper if needed. Steam 5 to 10 minutes longer until greens are tender.
    Remove contents from steamer and place in serving bowl or individual bowls and top with Sliced Almonds.
    Serve with a smile and enjoy.
