Spicy Ribs With Fruit Salsa - cooking recipe

2 1/2 tbsp honey
2 1/2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tsp sambal oelek
8 None pork ribs
2 tbsp oil
1 None onion, diced
3 None garlic cloves, crushed
1 oz blanched almonds
1 can (8 oz) pineapple chunks, juice reserved
1 tbsp dried oregano
Pinch None ground cloves
1 tsp dried thyme
Pinch None cayenne pepper
1 None cinnamon stick
1 can (14.5 oz) chopped tomatoes
2 None bananas, sliced
1 tbsp lemon juice
Pinch None sugar
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Mix the honey, ketchup and sambal oelek together and season. Coat the ribs with sauce. Place the ribs on a baking sheet covered in foil and bake for 35-40 mins, turning half way through.
Heat the oil in a pan, add the onion, garlic and almonds and saute for 3-4 mins. Add the pineapple, oregano, cloves, thyme, cayenne pepper and cinnamon and season. Mix in the tomatoes and juice from the pineapple. Simmer for 8-10 mins. Fold in the bananas, lemon juice and sugar and season. Divide the ribs and sauce between 4 plates and serve.
