Chocolate Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 tbsp butter, 1/2 chopped, 1/2 at room temperature
    10 oz dark chocolate, chopped
    1 cup self-rising flour, sifted
    3/4 cup sugar
    3 None large eggs, lightly whisked
    1/2 cup milk
    1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    2/3 cup cocoa powder
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease and line base and sides of an 8 inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
    For the batter, place chopped butter and chocolate in a heavy-based saucepan over low heat. Cook and stir for 3 mins or until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add flour, sugar, egg and 1/2 cup milk and stir until well combined. Pour into prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50 mins or until a skewer comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 mins, then transfer to a wire wrack to cool completely.
    Meanwhile, for the icing, sift powdered sugar and cocoa powder into a medium bowl. Add remaining butter and 1/2 cup milk. Using an electric mixer, beat until thick and creamy. Spread on the cooled cake and serve.
