Honey Sesame Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup self-rising flour
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp white pepper
    1 cup water
    1 None medium egg
    None None oil, for deep-frying
    2/3 cup cornmeal
2 lbs shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails intact
    1/2 cup honey
    1 tbsp rapeseed oil
    1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
Preparation
For the batter, sift flour into a large bowl and season. In a separate bowl, mix water and egg together. Gradually whisk into flour until smooth.
Heat oil in a deep saucepan on medium heat until a little batter sizzles as soon as it is added. Place cornmeal in a shallow dish. Lightly coat shrimp in cornmeal, shaking off excess. Dip, a few at a time, into batter, draining off excess. Cook, in batches, 3-4 mins, turning, until golden. Transfer to a wire rack.
Combine honey and oil together in a frying pan. Stir over medium heat until combined. Add shrimp, tossing well to coat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
